Associate/Community Pastor (Part Time/Full Time)

Are you passionate about leading and inspiring young people, building community connections, and sharing God’s love in creative ways? St Dionis Church is seeking an Associate/Community Pastor to join our vibrant congregation in Parsons Green, London. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of a Community Pastor/Youth & Children's Pastor, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of ministry in our church and local community.

About the Role

As Associate/Community Pastor, you will:

  • Oversee ministry to children and youth across the church.

  • Develop programs that nurture discipleship and pastoral care for families.

  • Lead community outreach initiatives, forging partnerships with local schools, charities, and organizations.

  • Collaborate with and create a dynamic team to provide comprehensive coverage for youth, children, and community ministries.

  • We are flexible whether this is a part time or full-time role depending on the candidate.

  • Embodies relational warmth, compassion, and a deep care for people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the vision of St Dionis for children and youth ministries.

  • Build relationships within the local community through outreach programs.

  • Spend at least one-third of your time engaging directly with children and young people.

  • Lead teaching, preaching, and worship alongside church leadership.

  • Ensure all activities comply with safeguarding guidelines.

Compensation:

  • c £40,000 (Pro Rata) 2-3 day/s per week.

  • 6-month probation period.

  • This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
